What Marcie said! Plus- I sometimes add a few radish seeds between early
lettuce
transplants- planted in triangular patterns in beds. They develop fast and we
harvest
them before the lettuce gets too big and we need to cultivate for weeds. I
also add a row
or 2 of green onions to the south side of tomato plants when we transplant
these. They
too get harvested before being shaded and are a companion.
