at sf farmers market we get:

snow peas $6 /#;sugar snaps $6.5:$3.25 wholesale
spinach $8 ie. $2 per 1/4 pound:$5 wholesale to cooperative store
got out of salad mix not sufficient return for labor too much competition

potatoes $2/# 1.5 over 10 pounds;fingelings $2.5

heirloom tomatoes are $3.50 a pound

then agin irrigated 'farm' land is 35-50k ....an acre actually its the
developemnt value not the ag value..

real food for real prices... i dont get a check from the usda or adm nor do
i suspect most of the other farmers on the list maybe we should !

We have a good niche at resturants with arugula (which I am now aware that
