Help us build a new market farming resources website. I've got a new URL
http://metalab.unc.edu/dirtfarm, even an email ID to connect to a webforum
for file descriptions alongside a file (pix, sound/document
upload/view/download area: dirtfarmer AT metalab.unc.edu; also:
market-gardening AT metalab.unc.edu. We need FAQs, pix, info and
links/descriptions of related websites, recommended reading lists,
tool/equipmen/materialst sourcelists.

I was just going to post about greenhouse glazing options, sources,
construction methods. Got curious about polycarbonate and did a websearch.
It seems that polycarbonate is better to use than fiberglass; better UV
and weather protection. Comes in sheets of different thicknesses as well
as double and triple wall greenhouse glazing panels.
Here are the two first URL's I ran across:
This one has an outlet in Asheville NC
SPS Corporation

(look for dealers who sell retail)

This one seems to do online mail order via Thomas Register website.
United States Plastic Corporation

Be sure to watch Norm Abrams "New Yankee Workshop"
on PBS TV this coming Saturday/Sunday
He will be constructing a medium sized freestanding
greenhouse glazed with flat polycarbonate sheets
You'll probably learn a lot about working with
polycarbonate in this particular show.
