Looking for a work-around for account activation/registration via email. We want to use Lyceum to create blogs and posting privileges for every student and teacher across an entire school district (52 schools). While students and teachers have their own district email account, we cannot expect a 3rd or 4th grade student to know their district email address. Likewise, a good number of teachers would be discouraged to use a blog if they need to, gasp..., enter in user accounts themselves (even batch import). Given the strict polices for posting content in a primary and secondary environment, we must restrict commenting privileges to registered accounts only. If anybody has any ideas or ways to overcome this, please, please share with me. We are creating about 10 new blogs a day - by hand. Similar request here: http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/lyceum-users/2006-September/000575.html Was a ticket ever submitted for this? Searched but could not find anything. If not, I will be happy to do so. bk |
