Thanks for that information, Jeff, and the offer; but I'm a bit of a ways from you as you say, and also not set up to hatch eggs, nor do I even have any housing for them. I'm just feeling the waters as it were, trying to decide if fowl are something I want to do. I'm in no hurry; I get free-range eggs locally, but am considering having a meat supply as well.
Thanks to the others that replied as well; as I really don't want to do commercial feed, I need to be certain I can get non-gmo ingredients before I commit to anything.
