We put granite dust that is very fine , some is microscopic. Granite dust has large range of mineral diversity. Diatomaceous earth is add to the feed and kelp when we have it. The diatomaceous earth has calcium and silica and helps keep down worms and the like. Diatomaceous earth is sprinkled on top of them for mites. All the birds are very healthy. Today slaughtered three of them for dinner tomorrow and the next day. At 13 weeks the Freedom Rangers were fairly fat and ready for the table.  As it is rainy here today I processed the birds in front of my business. I was surprised that people were interested in the process.
