Every town or village or community in the world can produce enough food to feed itself if it needs to do so. It may not have what it wants but can eat well. The cities can do a better job than they are now, if there was the will. Some developing country cities produce a very large percent of its food using inter-urban, urban and peri-urban land. Could do even better. That eliminates the multi-national food corporations. Education solves the problem of population which includes the 50% of the population that is female. Ken Hargesheimer |
