That is so great Harvey - this is the sort of stuff that helps to shift the paradigm - every step counts......

Hi All,

Thanks to all on the list for being part of the background perspective underlying the book on poultry I'm writing for Chelsea Green. I submitted the manuscript Jan 31, and my editor has completed here initial read and her recommendation (snippets of which below) that we proceed into the "developmental edit" phase. Actual pub date maybe early fall.

Again, thanks for sharing your wisdom, experience, and perspective. Even if you don't appear by name in the book, many of you have contributed toward its shaping. ~Harvey

> In sum, I am confident this book is the only one on the market that takes on these deep, holistic issues in terms of poultry farming, and it is clear that Ussery is an expert on the subject. His writing style is engaging, funny, and relatable, and his passion for poultry shines through the data. This is not a dry guide, but it is a thorough one to be sure. I’m excited about this as a launching point for a holistic, whole-systems livestock series, and think it will be an excellent addition to our list. . . . .
