We can all do better now and then, but it's not a constant problem like so
many lists I see, and those "rules" are honored more in the breach than the
observance. Looking back over the last several days I see little needing
trimming. And sometimes entire posts need to be included for context in a
reply. We have a high signal to noise ratio; we're not bothered with all the
aimless gossip and nonsense on many lists. Frankly I have no real criticism
of those who post on this list. And it's the most respectful and courteous
group I've ever seen.
