Easy.  Someone in the processing plant didn't was their hands after they used the rest room.  Doesn't matter how naturally it is raised all it takes is one person not washing their hands and then running the processing equipment to spread it.  First thing they taught us when I was working in restaurants.  Go one further.  You might have washed your hand, but someone else didn't and you handled what they did.  You are contaminated and what you handle becomes contaminated.
