Please forward to individuals and groups who may have interest in this
subject.

Okay, I'm just starting a little blog to hone my writing skills and
learn about this Web 2.0 thingie.

I had a draft about Monsanto sitting in there for awhile, and
yesterday I decided to finish it. It's not that I have any particular
thing to say that everyone hasn't already heard, but I felt the need
to say it. It is opinionated, but not libelous.

I was shocked to check my statistics this morning to find that
Monsanto had visited within 3 hours of posting! Not only them, but a
legal and PR entity as well, who may or may not be affiliated. Seeing
as how I don't get a lot of visits from PR firms and attorneys, I
suspect they are related. They are checking out every little thing
that gets posted about them, looking to create opportunities to
"protect their patents".

Apparently, if you want a direct voice to Monsanto, simply write a
small, unpopular blog and they'll be all over it! Just be careful not
to commit libel or break an NDA.

Here is the address if you want to check it out. The earliest post
(that they seriously checked out) discussed where to buy seeds and a
couple of linked articles detailing Monsanto's antics over the years.
The most recent post details all their visits over the last 24 hours.

I would love to have some meaningful comments added to either of the
recent posts, so they can see it next time they visit! Honestly, I
don't plan to drag this out, I wasn't even going to follow up on the
last one, but they made such a DEAL out of it, I felt compelled to
continue. This is how blogging gives the citizens a voice when big
media controls what we hear.

Thanks, and Just say NO to Monsanto!
