Look at this chart showing the last 12 months price rise in dairy, field
crops, and vegetables. Do the math. Project this trend for next year and the
next, and figure how families are going to eat at this rate of inflation.
Apparently the meat industry has been absorbing the rising cost of feed
grains, and many are selling off herds and flocks. So next year's shortages
will run up the price of all kinds of meat as well.
What are you growing to sell more or eat more at home instead of buying?
