Another good pair of sites
(depending on your point of view): http://www.dailyreckoning.com (watch out for the Mogambo: "We're freakin' DOOMED!!" ) http://www.minyanville.com and if you like to watch the chart go up and down, http://finance.yahoo.com/q?d=t&s=^DJI Dan P.S. Last month, the Dow went up by 300 points on the HINT that the Fed MIGHT lower interest rates. This week, it stayed flat when a 3/4 point rate drop was announced, then it went up when the brokers started buying banks. Today, it is fluctuating around zero, even though the government promises to dump dollars into the economy (from whoknowswhere). May you live in interesting times. Buy seeds and a shovel and maybe some chickens with your rebate checks. |
