Your chance to sit down with local chefs is almost here!

Sign up for the Premier Farmer/Chef Collaborative of North Idaho happening
next week in Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint! The half-day event - sponsored by
the Idaho State Department of Agriculture and Rural Roots - puts farmers,
ranchers, and chefs at the same table to discuss opportunities to source
fresh, local agriculture products in local restaurants. Fashioned similar
to
"speed-dating," this fantastic event allows each side to build working
relationships that fit needs and match resources.

Held January 28 in Coeur d'Alene and January 29 in Sandpoint, the
Collaborative facilitates round-table discussions to get a jump on the
market season and lock in supplies of local meats and produce. Take
advantage of this unique networking opportunity over a catered lunch of
local items and specialties.

If freshness and flavor mean something to you as a farmer and rancher, then
it's time to come out and meet the men and women who can give your products
new meaning.

For more details, please see the attached registration flier or contact Kim
Polzin at kpolzin@agri.idaho.gov or (208) 332-8532.
