We have been down that road. We backup our computers every week or so on an external harddrive. We have a battery backup system good for app. one hour if the power goes off. Getting stolen is another possibility and we went down that road last year. We had a steel cable hooking everything together including to the table. I had used my bolt cutters and rather than putting them back in the tool box, I laid them on a bench by the back door they destroyed. They remember them and got them to cut the cables. Otherwise, they could not have stolen them.

Whatever works. Putting it on paper also keeps it safe if the computer does
down. Or if the power goes out.
