sift each shovel full of soil. Even then one generally misses a few rhizomes
which sprout rapidly. Seeds also remain or move back into the cleared plot. If

hate. I covered the area with multi-layers of newspaper covered with
chips. I dug it out by hand after I marked off the beds. 5x11
feet took 8 hours. Ken H
