Deep wells are generally pretty safe, at
least in most rural areas. This with a caveat regarding
aquifer pollution. I worked on one project in Phil From:

runoff [surface water] running into the well. That being the case, any
contaminates would have to infiltrate the soil and go down through the soil to
the water level. I believe that will be nearly impossible unless the
