for stock we use tarps to keep the critters dry but you could just as easily
use greenhouse plastic.
Yeah, stock panels would certainly be more rugged than PVC. I'm still going to use PVC for the larger greenhouses I mean to build in the sheltered areas, because it will allow higher ceilings, but something like these might work well for the windswept ones.
