I didnt know these were available yet. and there are
quite a few more

Aliza, thanks for that list. it's good that a lot of
the bulbs offered also have a 12-volt mode of
operating, meaning you can take the power from your
deep-cycle battery which has been nicely charging on
your solar panel + small wind turbine all day, then
power those lites directly without the waste of
inverting it to AC power.
years ago i got one of the Air 403 wind turbines which
will charge a deep cycle 12-volt battery in a day of
good wind. but the low-cost 12-volt DC to 120-volt AC
inverters on the market waste a huge amount of that
power in heat and a fan to keep the heat from damaging
the circuits. high-cost inverters are, well, high
cost...
thinking of future use for that turbine in powering DC
greenhouse pumps for misting the plants, DC
ventilating fans, DC lites etc.
