You are 110% right but it also kills the farmers in other countries which I have personally seen. The US crop is dumped on the world market and sold below the cost of production here and in other countries so those farmers cannot sell their crop. Then the Mexican farmers swim the river to work here or starve.

Mark, I live in Lubbock TX and this county's cotton famers receive millions in welfare every year. Everyone from the farmers up to the FB to government ag employees are in favor of it. The congressmen push for it. The president of Lubbock Christian University gets some for his ranch. Check the website!
