I have followed "Growing Power" for years. You are right, it is hype. And money. $300 to attend a one day workshop. Limited to 10 people. That is $3000 income for one day. Is their motive money or gardening?
I charge $100 per day plus expenses. The more that come the better. TOGFA sponsored a one day compost workshop last year. Cost $245 per person.
This listserve is different from all others because of people's love of the land, organics, the earth, etc.
