I had to reread that paragraph a few times before I realized that burning the stuff produced both the charcoal and the bio-oil.....from the corn stuff....er stover. So it isn't an outside additive at all.
I have no idea if it will make a difference. The article is on the research. Sometimes research makes a difference. Sometimes it creates more problems.
At least it means someone is trying. Iowa State does a lot of research with corn. It was them who came up with corn gluten meal....and who continues to do research on it I think.
To me it seems they are trying to go down a better path. More and more of the professors and researchers are now backing up much of what we espouse on this list. Took them a while to come around.
Time will tell if this will come to
anything.....especially anything good.
