Surely someone out there is interested, so I'll
periodically report on my software attempts.
PlotCrop is too complex. Maybe I'll figure it
out, maybe I won't.
Plangarden, the online program, doesn't work all
the time. When it did work, it seemed promising.
Mittleider Garden Master insists that all of your
beds be the same size. I could work around that by having multiple plans,
but then they wouldn't interact with each other. My plot has 2' beds
against the side fences and 4' beds in the middle.
Maier Garden Manager does work with my scheme, so
I'm going to try to try it.
I should explain that I'm using "Square Foot
Garden" planning techniques, since my objective is improved succession
planning. It's not really SFG, but is 8" raised beds, and no-till. I
may make a SFG grid at some point, if it seems desirable.
