Thought this would supplement the discussion on
selling locally as a survival way for farmers. The
group starting up this forum (see below) came out of

Local Food Forum
Wednesday, February 28th, 6-8PM
Goerke Park Recreation Center, 2442 Simms Ave, Stevens
Point, WI

* Can fresh, local food enhance your restaurant menu?

* Could a local market for your farm products help
your bottom line and provide a living wage?

* Can local foods provide a healthy, interesting, and
affordable diet for you and your family?

* Can a local food network improve safety, efficiency,
and profitability?

* Who would benefit from a growing, local food
economy?

Come join the discussion as we plan how to strengthen
relationships between Central Wisconsin's farmers,
restaurants, retailers, and consumers. Listen to
presentations, share your perspective, and network
with local stakeholders.
