Hello, I am writing to the list for help in
researching old tires and safety in the ground.

I am fascinated by all the uses of old tires, as these
references to Earth Works conjure images of retaining
walls and container gardens.

We are all concerned about the leaching of metals,
etc. and from what I have read, the metals are
measurable along pavements, and in amounts to rate
dangerous levels. But I am looking for information in
conjunction with using whole, undamaged tires in
landscaping or gardening.

Please let me know if you have any info along those
lines, since the www is very sparse on these studies.

Sinceerely,
Zachary
