Perhaps it was water logged causing root rot , etc.

Subject: [OFEX] potted citrus
Hello All,
Anybody have a clue why a potted clementine would wilt, all leaves hanging
apparently dead, after bringing it in for the season?
It was not hit by frost or cold.
I have two potted citrus grown from seed; a clementine and a tangerine.
Both have been treated exactly the same.
The tangerine is fine with green, glossy leaves, while the clementine just
collapsed.
Any chance it will recover, or is it gone?
Thanks,
Tom
