Hello All,
Does anyone have any information on rooting "bull" caned grape cuttings?
I have a vine that gets winter killed to the ground each year. Each year it regrows, producing bull canes with large distances between buds, and the huge leaves.
The cuttings I have rooted in the past are nothing like this. A normal cutting mave haave up to three buds in a 8" cutting. A bull cane may give one bud per 8" cutting.
Since we have had a mild winter so far, it is time to take cuttings from this bull cane vine. How do I do it?
Please be specific in regards to cutting length and procedure.
Thanks,
Tom
