Windows XP? Windows 7?
Do you have system checkpoints turned on? I saw the system restore
checkpoints eat an entire hard drive in a few days as the user added
additional software packages. The restore points kept using more and
more disk space without clearly revealing it was being used. Very annoying.
I find http://windirstat.info/ is excellent at helping me locate where
disk space is going on a Windows box.
