Rebecca,
The local Drupal groups are super helpful --
http://groups.drupal.org/tridug
I'd also post to the statewide group
http://groups.drupal.org/north-carolina
I think you'll need to join both groups. When you post, you'll have a chance to select the groups you want to post to and you can select both.
Describe as best you can what changed when it went live.

Hey guys,
I need help figuring out why my webserver has become overloaded and what
I can do about it. This is my first Drupal website, but it's a big site
and I did it for a client who is freaking out so I need help ASAP. I was
working beautifully until it went live, of course. Please let me know
if you think you can help or can recommend anyone who can help.
Thanks,
