Hi Scott,
Flash is definitely the way to go. You already require the Flash plugin for the video and you will not be dependent on the user having a media player app installed on the machine and associated with .m3u. Make it easy for the user. Of course they need the Flash browser plugin, but the odds are very high they will have it if you publish the Flash as version 6.

Thanks, Jim.
I didn't do the video; some video folks in the UK did that and it's just pulled in from YouTube to the site. I've been thinking about using Camtasia (or Flash) to create a .swf file for the audio, with some place holder image, as a backup hack.

It streamed fine on my PC (XP Pro).
What software did you use to create the video? It might embed some fancy code to control streaming audio. I use Camtasia myself yet do video as opposed to audio.

Hey folks,
I just launched a website that has an audio file which should stream to the users. I read about .m3u files as a way to point to the mp3 file. This works on both a pc and mac that I test on so I launched the site with it, but it doesn't work on my client's (Windows Vista) machine.
Does anyone know an easy, bullet-proof, way to get an mp3 to stream?
The site is:

Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards,
Scott
