Jim,

There is nothing else you need to do in order to marry someone in North Carolina.  The statute states you need to be ordained or licensed in your faith in order to marry someone.  When a couple comes to you to get married they will present two copies of the marriage license.  You and the witnesses will need to complete both copies, then you are responsible for mailing the license back to the office that the couple received it from, Wake County provides a self addressed envelope for this purpose.

If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.

I became an ordained minister and wanted to know if there is any other requirement or form necessary to perform wedding ceremonies. Please advise.
