I pay for a seat at Carrboro Creative Coworking. I love it. :)

There are several different price points. I like the $100 for ten
visits (to be used within 90 days) model, which gives you access to
good coffee, wifi, a seat in one of two rooms (one has cushy chairs
with attached swivel desk, the other conference room style),
interesting people doing interesting things... other goodies I'm
forgetting. Rather than prattle on about how much I love the
flexibility and whatnot I'll just re-point you to their pricing page:

And by "their" I really mean Brian Russell's, since it's his business
baby. Brian's good people.

Anywho... as has been mentioned, the location in downtown Carrboro is
great. Last time I checked the first visit was free if you want to
come check out the space before paying.
