Anyone know of a reputable telemarketing company that could help me with some cold calls? I’ve been inundated with business thus far this year, have not had time to make calls and need to make sure we reach out and touch some prospects. In the past, I had the revolving door going on with my home brewed call center based primarily on students and wanted to kick it up a notch.

Are cold calls working for you?  I've never started a business relationship with a company because of a cold call; has anyone else?  Maybe its different with local companies?

I've been getting lots of calls lately from companies trying to get us to outsource development to India, and its particularly aggravating because they lie to get me on the phone.  First someone calls (from India of course) pretended to be a customer and set up an appointment with their "boss", who's interested in our products and wants to do a desktop share.  When the "boss" calls the next day, he wants to show me a slideshow about the benefits of outsourcing.

And then there's the variation when the person calling (from India) pretends to be the personal assistant for the CEO of a company, who will only talk to our CEO.  And of course when they get you on the phone its another outsourcing pitch.
