you feature by feature what the truth is.

So sad. Bill doesn't get it. It's not about features. It's about the whole package. How everything works together. It's about the computer getting out of the way and allowing work to happen with a minimum of interruption.

It's about watching the movie and NOT the projector.

You want features? Here are some of my favorite Windows "features" :

Feature : Constantly remind me that there are icons on my desktop that I haven't used and offer to help me clean them up. Repeat every 60 days by default. Hide the checkbox to turn this ^&*^&* thing off 2 levels down into the Display properties

Feature : every time I plug a USB 2.0 device into a USB 1.0 port, remind me that the device would work faster if I had a USB 2.0 port. Repeat this every time I plug it in. Hide the checkbox to turn this off in the USB section of Device Manager

Don't get me started on the paper clip guy in Office.....
