I have not needed to do flea-bombing since Programe came on the market.

I am distressed to learn that the fleas have adapted!

I have not used the specific brand that Dave mentions, but I have done that routine in the past.

It's a good idea to board the pet for 24 hours, and when the humans return after 8+ hours, open all windows to air out the house. Especially if the pet has had insectiside applied during the bath, the pet will be more sensitive to pesticide residue in the house than the humans.

If the pet sleeps in a consistent place, send the bedding through the washer on hot, and through the dryer.

I've seen advice to not bathe the dog for 3 days before applying frontline.

Open doors, drawers, cabinets, the whole shebang. Set off a massive quantity of Raid Fumigators. Then leave the premises for 8+ hours. Altho these are not as messy as foggers, I still highly recommend throwing out any food that was exposed and washing your dishes/ glasses/pots/pans again. That may be overkill, but I have this thing against eating poison.
