I'll take the scene from Crouching Tiger where the two ladies battled it out with the Green Destiny and a variety of weapons ending with that two-handed broad sword.

Cool! I haven't seen that -- I'll keep it in mind.... The highly choreographed swordfights in "Princess Bride" began my fascination with the genre.... Other good swordfights come to mind, but I can't remember sources.... "The Man in the Iron Mask," maybe? "The Fifth Musketeer"? Both recent Zoro flicks provided good action....   ~B

Straying farther and farther from the original topic...

I haven't seen it, but I heard that "Rob Roy" has the best swordfighting scene ever.

I recently discovered a guy flick quite by accident.... Being rather
fond of swashbucklers, I bought the "Master and Commander, The Far
Side of the World" CD on special.... I wasn't too fond of it, as it is
bloody and full of fights and other gross stuff and you only see a
total of, like, four women (for, like, 10 seconds as they are paraded
past the ship with other wares for sale). The battle scenes were
horrifying, the sword fights were vicious. My husband was mesmerized.
I think it may even beat out "The 13th Warrior" for having the least
appeal to a female mindset... Russell Crowe is no Antonio Banderas! As
for the car flicks -- I kind of liked Vanishing Point, way back when
it first came out, but not enough to watch it a second time, FWIW....
