I need to have 4 (medium to small) pieces of furniture moved from a store
in Durham to my house in Apex (no more than 30 miles)

The store recommended 2 local businesses which are estimating $175 bucks! Are they crazy or am I too cheap? Regular furniture stores charge an
average of $50 for deliveries, but this store doesn't offer this option.

Do any of you know someone who'd do the job for less?

Two guys for about 3h each with a truck. At $20h that would
be about $120, plus a truck rents for about $50-80 a day. It
sounds like $175 isn't that overly expensive.
However, it is much more expensive than a couple of half
loaded internetworkers with an old pickup.
