Interesting co-incidence. I just switched from my 7135 to a Tungsten E2
and bluetooth-enabled LG cameraphone. While I liked the 7135 as a
"best-of" for it's palm/phone integration, I did find it to be
exceptionally fragile (3 screens in 2 years) and prone to issues
(including the battery recall).
I have a cradle, 2 wall chargers, 1 car charger, and the RS-232 travel
cable for the 7135 for sale. Contact me off list if interested.
Some words of advice based on practical experience :
- do not drop the phone. I lost 2 screens that way
- do not put the phone in your back pocket. I lost a screen that way
- Occasionally the phone will lock up in such a way that it looks
like it has signal and fails on all calls. A reset usually solves
this problem. In one instance a factory reset and restore was
required to correct this condition.
- It is exceptionally easy to dislodge the battery when accessing the
reset button
- Do not let your children know about the reset button.
- back up daily if not more often
