I would suggest trying Two Men and a Truck
(http://www.twomenandatruck.com/franchise_by_state.php?franchise_state=NC)
, or Manpower. I know my SO hired TM&AT to unload some heavy stuff off
a u-haul for my fatherinlaw's move to the area, so they aren't limited
to "whole moves." There is probably a minimum time/cost, though, which
might not be the case for a day-labor-only service.
