Especially with downsizing so rampant, I know there are quite a few of us
with one foot in the tech world and one foot in the entrepreneur world...

I'm seriously considering selling home and apparel accessory merchandise at
the Fairgrounds on the weekends. I want to find out the following:

1. Is anyone interested in sharing a space with me to sell your own
merchandise? I already have a 10x10 tent and (2) 6' long tables. It costs
$18 per day per spot and the temporary vendor spots are
first-come-first-serve (vendors line up pretty early on Saturday morning at
the gate). We'd each only need to sell $9 worth of merchandise per day to
break even. I know of another person who makes organic cookies and would be
interested in sharing space only on Sundays.

2. Does anyone have a covered pickup, van, or SUV that's not being used or
something mechanically reliable for sale at a low price that I could use to
transport my stuff to the fairgrounds should I decide to move forward with
this idea? I have a Honda Civic and cannot fit my tent, tables, and
merchandise in my vehicle in one trip. Considering the Saturday morning the
wait in line, two trips makes no sense.

If you ARE interested in sharing space or have a vehicle, please contact me

This could be a lot of fun.

Thanks in advance,
