Haven't done any real thinking on this anytime recently, but the following
article caught my eye:

It's not what we're looking to do, but the basic concepts are the same:
store, parse, edit, republish. It's written in Perl. Just got me
wondering in what language CommunityWebLogger would be. Perl? PHP? And,
yeah, I know we're not past the use cases yet, but I like to jump ahead...
