Position #1:
A leading 3D gaming company with a development center in the Triangle Area
of North Carolina requires a 3D Graphics Engineer to join one of their game
development teams. The team consists of several 3D engineers and is
developing a console game to be marketed to large consumer markets globally.
The individual that fills this position will work closely with a small
graphics group and as part of a larger team to complete a cutting-edge game.

Engineering skills required include developing in C++, 2 years minimum; 1+
years working directly on 3D development; technical degree (or applicable
experience) in computer science or math; strong 3D math skills; strong
problem solving and communication skills, with a particular emphasis on
working with a small team of graphics specials, artists and designers to
shape technology expectations; DirectX; and some experience with tools
development. Prefer console development experience, XBox highly preferred
and at least one published computer game title.

Position #2:
A leading 3D gaming company with a development center in the Triangle Area
of North Carolina requires an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join their
game development team. The AI Engineer will create realistic and
cutting-edge artificial intelligence for upcoming games on multiple
platforms. Will work closely with development team and design staff to
create realistic and fun behaviors for game characters. Engineering
requirements include strong problem solving and communication skills; C++
and Microsoft Windows expertise; and AI theory, algorithms and techniques.

Position #3:
A leading 3D gaming company with a development center in the Triangle Area
of North Carolina requires a Sound Designer to join their game development
team. The Sound Designer assists in the creation and implantation of the
sound for multi-platform games currently in development. Hires will be
working on creating realistic and entertaining sound systems. The individual
that fills this position will work closely with a development team and
design staff to implement sounds and sound technologies within games.

With regard to design, must have the ability to envision and work with sound
in game environment; ability to place sounds within a game level; budgeting
of sound assets; designing sound for world and game-play; good organization
and communication skills; and have strong documentation and written
communication skills. Must have the following editing experience: effective
knowledge of 2-track and multi-track editors (Sound Forge, Vegas, Nuendo,
ProTools, Waves Plug-ins, Acid); knowledge of music theory; knowledge of
sequencing software (Cakewalk, Cubase, Logic Audio, Digital Performer) is a
plus; ability to create professional-quality sound effects, edit and mix
music and to edit and process voice-overs; collaboration; comfortable
working in team-based environment; ability to work closely with engineers
and designers; ability to collaborate with other sound professionals. Must
also have two or more years in a job or schooling utilizing audio skills;
experience with source-cont!
rol, database, middleware and level editors; prior experience in working in
the video gaming industry is a big plus; knowledge of pipelines and
trade-offs duo to system limitations; PC experience; and console experience
a plus.
