greetings all,

the short of it:
On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being HTML 1.0 and 10 being ... well, I don't
know what 10 would be, something like C++ maybe?, ... what would be the
rating for the learning curve of mySQL? ...to become a basic
user/operator/manager/whatever.

the long of it:
After years of stubbornly (lazily?) maintaining nearly all of my contact
information on little scraps of paper here and there and everywhere ...
Dave Matusiak can attest to this due to a recent losing-of-the-wallet
incident ... I've decided to put it all online in a tidy database. I
found what appears to be a nifty PHP-driven address book:
http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/3257.html
It uses mySQL for the database. As I've mentioned in some past message, I
don't know squat about mySQL, or any other db for that matter. Before I
go installing this address book, I need to know if I should even bother;
as in, will the implementation prove too difficult for a pretender like
me?

thanks,
Alan
