The only time I did karaoke was in a dyke bar in Portland and there were
some great people there (never thought I would hear "Punk Rock Girl" as
karaoke, though) - the Japanese exchange student who sang "Hotehrl
Carifornyah" was the best. I got up too but only after 3 beers and some
encouragement from the trannie across the table.
I don't think I'll find *that* type of atmosphere here in the Triangle but
if I bring enough friends along there could be a sub-climate of weird
there.
