Not very hard at all--if you are doing it on a single page or for a small
site. Perhaps the way he had to integrate the markup and CSS wouldn't allow
for such an easy application? He and his team did have to integrate a lot of
legacy systems, I would wager.
I'm willing to let the guy have a huge amount of slack. He, along with
others in his group, have transformed a major destination site--that's not
about technology like Wired.com--using CSS. That alone is worthy of praise
and will hopefully get the word out about power of CSS-enabled design.
