[Triangle Networking Group - NETWORK Mailing List]
Hi everyone,
The job I mentioned Thursday is now posted. Get your resumes in shape, make
it easy for me to see you're the one for the job, and apply online as soon
as possible. I look forward to finding some great sales professionals.

The job title is Software Sales Professional, and the job ID is #2150. This
applies to all 4 positions.

Michelle Swart

[Triangle Networking Group - NETWORK Mailing List]
Hi all,
I've been a member of the group for some time and now I have a good chance
to help the group out. I recently accepted a Sales Manager position with
SAS, and I need to hire 4 new sales reps. You must apply online once the
position appears on http://www.sas.com/jobs/index.html. I can only consider
resumes that come in that way. I've included the job description that
should be posted late this week or early next week (I'll try to let you know
when I know it's posted, but keep looking anyway).

A few VERY IMPORTANT pointers.

Make sure your resume reflects all of the items in the requirements as
closely as possible. Don't make HR or me try to decipher it because we'll
probably get 100s of resumes, and you'll get lost in the shuffle if you
don't make it clear. Also make sure your resume reflects as many of the
preferences as possible.

If you don't meet the requirements, please don't apply because I can't
consider it.

You can get help (whether for SAS or otherwise) by looking at
http://www.sunsetharborgroup.com/get_a_job.htm. Yes, you can buy a book
there, but YOU DON'T HAVE TO, and you can get lots of help/tools there
anyway. You can get pointers on resumes, and you can take a look at (even
download) resumes in the format that I like best. I wrote this book, so it
would probably help you to see what I like in a resume.

Background on JMP (pronounced "jump"): JMP is a business unit of SAS. In
addition to being a part of SAS, it has it's own identity and branding, so
it has it's own web site. Go to www.jmp.com to find out more about the
product.

Of course, these pointers assume that you do have the background for the
