C'mon now, that study was conducted by the Consumer Electronics
Association. How unbiased do you think they are? Of course they have a
vested interest in promoting things with power cords and plugs as
opposed to sparkly things as being more desirable.

The study does say "would rather own," not
"would rather receive."
