Job Title: Web developer
Job Description: The Web developer position is responsible for the
technical production of user interfaces and database communications
for Isophs Web sites, Isoph client learning environments, and online
training and collaboration products. This person will be required to
assess, make recommendations for and execute the technical
implementation of various web projects, primarily at the level of
communication between the front end (HTML) and back end
(data/metadata).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform
tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Web development team,
working efficiently and collaboratively with project team members,
ensuring regular communication with the project team to complete
projects on time and on budget. Be proactive in defining task list,
and take initiative to provide feedback and ideas.
· Support other
designers and developers by providing feedback and/or quality checking
work of other project team members during internal review
sessions.
· Review and be familiar with all client creative
requirements, brand attributes, and style guidelines for the
project.
· Work closely with the Web designers, instructional
designers, and project manager to schedule and implement tasks
according to the project schedule. Proactively communicate
issues/challenges that may affect timely sequence of
deliverables.
· Review and be familiar with all project
documentation, such as integrated processes, including project plans,
design document, meeting notes, and schedule.
· Implement graphic
design production, preparing content in optimized formats to the
development team members for efficient integration.
· Make
recommendations for and execute production of database communication
layer between front-end HTML and back-end data and metadata.
· Keep
current with technologies and development strategies across all media
types.
