The clip can play on a wireless laptop! ...so, I'm looking for a coffee place, w/wireless Internet access. Does this mean UNC-CH campus?

...Philo's widow, Pem, showed me the kinescope clip about ten years ago. At the time, her copy was the only one. There's a museum of television in NY, I believe, was interested in a copy. I was told there were few recordings of the Gary Moore show, and even less of the TV Inventor. ...now it's on the Internet. This is good. There's a very useful story (Farnsworth - Sarnoff; lone, willful, Mormon, genius inventor).

Thomas, thanks for the link

How far society has advanced (or declined) thanks to the development of TV.
There's a clip I saw of Farnsworth on the old Gary Moore, "I've Got A Secret" program. The blindfolded panel trying to figure who the mystery guest (Farnsworth) was, asked if he was a psychologist. The low-keyed Farnsworth smiled, said he wasn't,, but that you might need one if you saw his invention. This was in 1955.
I may have a copy of that clip here. I wonder if it could be played on the screens? ...in between the ball games! ...not! What am I thinking :-)
