Actually, Ray's is probably quite tame. Once upon a time it was known as
Dale's Tavern ('70s and '80s) and it had some pretty good food. At that
time, there weren't a lot of eating establishments out here in the park. I
haven't been there in a while since the clientele cleaned up a lot after
Dale sold out. (As I remember, his Sister had a poodle parlor next door.)
O'Malley's Pub on Glenwood Avenue is a good place to eat and drink. (Oak
Park Shopping Center across from Darryl's.) The food is good and they have
$1 PBRs every night. They also have the fancy-ass beers y'all drink too.
Guiness on tap I believe. Clientele seems friendly or at least harmless.
Does it matter if the waitresses have tattoos?
